History of the Company:
Shades of Green Property Maintenance was officially established in 1999, but it's roots began in Quantico, MD over 22 years ago where an enterprising young man began mowing lawns for the local towns people. Joe Lappin began mowing lawns when he was 14 years old, and continued through high school and college. While away at the Pennsylvania School of Art and Design Joe continued to work as a landscaper and upon his return home in 1992 tried to live as an artist, and eventually found steady work at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center. For years Joe worked tirelessly at his "Full Time" job at PRMC all the while pursuing his dream of owning and operating his own property maintenance company. The dream became reality when Shades of Green Property Maintenance become incorporated in 1999. Since that time, Shades of Green Property Maintenance has grown to one of the largest property maintenance companies on the shore and continues to grow with every passing year. We serve numerous clients on the Eastern Shore, Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Northern Virginia.

The Present:
Continuing with the trend that was started with at 14 year old boy and his lawn mower, Shades of Green Property Maintenance is always looking to the future and finding the best way to better serer the community and it's needs--that is why we have now branched off into the sign post manufacturing and installation business. We have learned that there is a major need for a reliable, timely, and efficient service provider and we believe we are the answer to your problem. We have addressed this need by teaming up with experienced real estate agents and finding out what the needs are in this area. With the addition of experienced real estate agents and our unwavering commitment to customer service we believe this is the best formula for success.
